One of IFF’s long term Innovation programs for Flavours is dedicated to the increasing use of alternative proteins in food and beverages. Through the Re-Imagine Protein™ Innovation Program, we pioneer technologies that support alternative and sustainable food sources without compromising great taste. In the last decades IFF has built up expertise in flavouring currently existing and successful market products in the field of protein alternatives. This work is done by our expert teams in our European flavor technical center in Hilversum – The Netherlands or by our local application technologist in the markets.
The acquisition of Frutarom has added ingredient and processing capabilities to IFF’s taste skill to complement our differentiation position in the marketplace.
